Coleslaw is a standby salad that’s often served, though not always loved. So here’s a slaw that’s been given a worldly makeover.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 8

  • 2 yields Lime Juice Raw
  • 1/4 cup Coconut Nectar
  • 2 tbsp grapeseed oil
  • 1 tbsp Teriyaki Sauce, Triple Ginger
  • 1 tsp Island Teriyaki Sauce & Marinade
  • 8 cups Classic Cole Slaw Mix
  • 1 medium red onion
  • 3/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Salted Peanuts

DIRECTIONS

1 Whisk together the lime juice, coconut nectar (or honey), oil, and teriyaki sauce in a large bowl.
2 Add the cole slaw mix (or shredded cabbage), onion and mint; toss to coat.
3 Taste and add extra lime juice if desire more tanginess.
4 Sprinkle with the peanuts. Serve immediately.
