Avocado, Prosciutto and Melon Tartines

After spreading with a heart-friendly Hass avocado mixture, you’ll accessorize these tartines with natural prosciutto (a little goes a long way!), cantaloupe, black pepper and fresh basil leaves.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 medium avocado
  • 1/2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 slice 7 Grain Sourdough Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 oz Natural Prosciutto
  • 1/3 cup Cantaloupe
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 10 Fresh Basil Leaves

DIRECTIONS

1 Peel, pit and mash the avocado.
2 In a small bowl, mash together the avocado, lemon juice, and salt.
3 Spread the avocado mixture onto the bread slices. Arrange on each the prosciutto, cantaloupe, and basil.
