Berry Lover's Pulse Smoothie

You'll have a blast blending this berry smoothie, with added beans and chilled green tea for added nutritional value. There's a hint of mango and lime, but the berries will bring out the flavor. (Photo: Jackie Newgent)

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 1/2 cup Cannellini Beans
  • 1 1/4 cups Mixed Berries
  • 1/2 cup Mango Cubes
  • 1/2 cup Unsweetened Green Tea
  • 1 tsp lime juice

DIRECTIONS

1 Add the beans, frozen berries (or strawberries), frozen mango, chilled green tea, and lime juice to a blender. Cover and blend on high speed until well pureed.
2 Pour into chilled glasses, and serve.
