Cafe Mocha Shake with Cacao Nibs

This thick and creamy shake with a jolt of caffeine makes for a great morning treat or a mid-afternoon indulgence thanks to the whole milk Greek yogurt base and distinctive crunch from cacao nibs.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1/4 cup Hot Water
  • 1/4 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 tsp Instant Espresso Powder
  • 3/4 cup Greek Plain Yogurt, Whole Milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 3 package stevia
  • 1 tsp Cacao Nibs

DIRECTIONS

1 In a heatproof liquid measuring cup or bowl, stir together the hot water, cocoa powder, and espresso powder until a strong mocha coffee forms.
2 Add the Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and stevia (or another naturally-derived sweetener) and stir until thick shake forms. (Hint: If prefer a thinner shake, add cold water by the teaspoon).
3 Pour into a chilled glass, sprinkle with the cacao nibs, and serve.
