Caprese-Style Ciabatta (No-Cook!)

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 Whole Grain Sandwich Roll
  • 6 leaf fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 medium raw Heirloom Tomato
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 oz Fresh Mozzarella Cheese

DIRECTIONS

1 On the bottom portion of the roll, arrange 3 of the basil leaves. Top with the tomato, salt, olive oil, vinegar, cheese, the remaining 3 basil leaves, and the roll top.
2 (Hint: Make at night; enjoy in the morning. For best results, insert the basil leaves in the morning. To take it to go, wrap in parchment paper then foil. Chill if not eating within 2 hours.)
