Chai Spiced Baked Sweet Potato

Chai spices pair perfectly with sweet potato’s natural sugars, and a drizzle of manuka honey adds complexity to the dish. This recipe is proof that simplicity can still be delicious!



  • 1 sweetpotato , raw sweet potato
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1/4 tsp Spices, cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 1/4 tsp Allspice, Ground
  • 1 tbsp Manuka Honey


1 Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2 Use a fork to pierce the sweet potato 6 to 7 times. Bake on a baking sheet for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the flesh is tender.
3 Mix the spices in a small bowl (or spice shaker) and set side.
4 Once the sweet potato is finished, slice lengthwise and sprinkle the spice mixture over the flesh. Top with the honey and serve immediately.
