Kamut is an ancient grain from Egypt that pulls in a whopping 9.8 grams of protein and offers a thicker, chewier texture than most porridges.

  • 1 1/2 cups Kamut
  • 24 oz Pea Milk, Unsweetened
  • 1 cup Water, tap, well
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup dried tart cherries (sweetened)
  • 2 tbsp Syrups, table blends, cane and 15% maple

1 Soak Kamut overnight. In the morning, drain Kamut and add to a food processor, chopping until pieces are lightly chopped.
2 Add water and milk to a pan and bring to a light boil. Add Kamut to pot, cover and reduce heat. Add salt and stir. Cook for another 30-40 minutes and continue to add water as needed to maintain desired thickness.
3 Once porridge is cooked, divide into 2 bowls and top with walnuts and cherries and lightly drizzle with syrup.
