Chia Almond Date Smoothie

Chia seeds have some of the same benefits of flax seed, another popular smoothie ingredient.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Water, No Pulp
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp nut butter
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Ground
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetend Coconut Flakes
  • 2 California Pitted Dates

DIRECTIONS

1 Warm coconut water in a small saucepan over medium heat.
2 Add chia seeds to saucepan. Stir chia seeds every few minutes. Continue for about 20 minutes. Set aside and refrigerate until cooled.
3 Combine almond milk, nut butter of your choice, cinnamon, coconut flakes and dates in a blender and blend until completely smooth.
4 Combine in a glass and stir in chia mixture.
