Chocolate Almond Protein Cocoa is rich, chocolaty and loaded with protein so you can stay lean and boost your metabolism while indulging! A high quality protein powder can help to build and repair muscle tissue and stabilize your blood sugar to prevent energy spikes and crashes.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 4 scoops Proto Whey Double Chocolate (New Power Crunch Formulation)
  • 2 tsp agave nectar
  • 1 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/2 tbs Organic Almond Butter
  • 12 g Real Whipped Light Cream
  • 2 tsp Unsalted Dry Toasted Slivered Almonds

DIRECTIONS

1 Combine first 7 ingredients (almond milk through sea salt) with a whisk in a big pot until smooth over medium heat. As cocoa begins to get hot, whisk constantly. Once cocoa is hot throughout, add almond butter and continue whisking for 1 minute.
2 Remove cocoa from heat and pour into mugs. Top with a dollop of light whipped cream and toasted almonds. Enjoy!
