Cinnamon Coconut Sugar Fries

Coconut sugar is lower in fructose than other sweeteners. It taste similar to brown sugar, but with the dry texture of white. This recipe pairs it with cinnamon for a nostalgic churro-like vibe, but also because the cinnamon helps lower blood sugar. (Paleo, vegan, gluten- and grain-free)

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 2 medium cooked sweet potato
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Sugar

DIRECTIONS

1 Make sure your sweet potatoes are sliced 1/4" thick and roasted for 25-35 minutes until crispy before beginning this recipe
2 In a mixing bowl, stir cinnamon and coconut sugar together
3 Add cooked sweet potato fries and toss to combine
