  • 1 Fuji Apple
  • 1 medium Lime
  • 5 leaf fresh basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 oz Tequila


1 Core the Green apple from top to bottom. Juice or muddle the apple pieces. Build in the short end of a Boston-style shaker tin. Using a hand press, squeeze half a lime into the shaker tin.
2 Add basil leaves press once or twice with muddler to release oils. Add tequila. Fill shaker 3/4 with ice. Shake vigorously for ten seconds. Fine strain ingredients into a 9.5 oz lowball or rocks glass over new ice.
3 GARNISH: Using a red apple, cut the vertical side from the apple. Lay this piece down flat with skin up & then cut into strips. Fan the rounded strips slightly and skewer with a bamboo garnish stick.
