Are you obsessed with iced coffee? You'll be surprised how easy it is to make cold-brew iced coffee at home. The cold-brew process involves little more than soaking coarsely ground coffee beans in cold or room-temperature water for at least 20 hours, then filtering the mixture. Plus, coffee that's brewed cold is less acidic than typical, hot-brewed coffee.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 9

  • 1/2 lb Coffee, Ground
  • 9 cups Water, tap, well

DIRECTIONS

1 Add coarsely ground beans to a bowl. Gently pour water into the bowl.
2 Cover the bowl with a light towel and wait at least 20 hours.
3 Filter through a sieve (you can use regular coffee filters or cheese sloth)
4 Wet coffee filter and place it in tube. Filter coffee blend once more.
5 Store coffee in a sealable container. If the cold-brew is too strong, you can dilute with water, milk or your favorite nut or oat milk.
