Dark Chocolate Goji Berry Bark

This delicious bark highlights the goji berry, which is packed with antioxidants and beta-carotene for skin health. They're also known to boost the immune system and are teeming with fiber.



  • 8 oz Chocolate, Bittersweet
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1/8 tsp Tumeric
  • 1/4 cup Goji Berries (dried)


1 Line a large baking sheet with unbleached parchment paper.
2 Gently melt the chopped chocolate (about 70% cacao) with the cinnamon and turmeric in a double boiler (or heatproof bowl placed over simmering water).
3 Immediately pour the melted chocolate mixture onto the lined baking sheet, and spread out using a spatula into an even layer, about 7 1/2- by 11-inches.
4 Quickly sprinkle with the Goji berries, tapping the tray against the counter a couple times to assure the goji berries adhere to the chocolate.
5 Chill in the refrigerator until firm, at least 1 hour.
6 Peel off the parchment paper and break chocolate into about 12 large bite-size pieces (bark).
7 Store in the refrigerator or at room temperature. Box up as desired for gifting.
