Fall Kale Apple Walnut Salad

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 6 cups Kale, Raw
  • 1 cup Red Onion
  • 1 serving apple
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Walnuts
  • 4 Lemon Wedge Juice, Raw
  • 1/4 cup Shaved Parmesan
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt

DIRECTIONS

1 Shred kale by slicing thinly with a large kitchen knife, and place in a large bowl.
2 Add salt and lemon juice and rub into kale leaves using fingers. This process will soften the kale, and improve the texture.
3 Add remaining ingredients, toss to combine, and serve.
