You don't need a fondue pot to make this delicious recipe, just a bowl in which to serve the fondue. Begin by stirring together semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk on the stovetop. If possible, choose milk from 100 percent grass-fed cows; it contains significantly more conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) than its conventional counterpart. CLAs may be associated with lower heart attack risk.
INGREDIENTS
SERVES 4
-
8 fruit clementine
-
2/3 cup Baking Chips, Semi-Sweet Chocolate, Mini
-
1/3 cup Organic Grass-fed 2% Milk
DIRECTIONS
1
Peel and section mandarin oranges, such as Halos. (Alternatively, choose 4 cups seasonal fruit of choice.)
2
In a small saucepan, add chocolate chips and milk (or plain, unsweetened almond milk). Place over medium-high and cook while stirring just until a creamy sauce forms, about 2 minutes.
3
Transfer to a small heat-proof serving bowl.
4
Serve immediately with mandarins. Enjoy by dipping each into the warm chocolate.
