Forte Gelato (use Vanilla or Chocolate for this recipe) is a creamy, low-fat alternative to ice cream with 15 grams of protein per serving and 45% of your daily calcium requirements! Top your sundae with toasted heart-healthy almonds, strawberries and just a hint of antioxidant-packed dark chocolate.

8 oz Forte High Protein Gelato

1 tbsp Butter

1 tbsp Honey

1 1/2 cups Strawberries, Raw

2 tbsp Unsalted Dry Toasted Slivered Almonds

1/2 tbsp Chocolate, dark

Let Forte Gelato (use Vanilla or Chocolate) sit at room temperature for a few minutes so it’s easier to remove from the cup.

In the meantime, heat a small frying pan over medium heat. Add butter and let it melt. Add honey and strawberries and cook, stirring frequently, until strawberries begin to break down and a sauce starts to form (about 4 to 5 minutes). In the meantime, remove Forte Gelato from container and scoop into two small bowls.

Pour strawberries sauce on top of Forte Gelato. Sprinkle with toasted slivered almonds and garnish with a small amount of dark chocolate shavings. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
