This zesty smoothie bursts with grapefruit, ginger and turmeric. Grapefruits can increase the body’s digestive enzymes and burn up stored body fat. Ginger has been used for centuries as a natural remedy to accelerate gastric emptying and treat bloating.
INGREDIENTS

1 Grapefruit, raw, pink and red, Florida

1/2 medium Honeycrisp Apples

1/2 tbsp Fresh Ginger Root

1/4 cup Greek Yogurt Non-Fat Vanilla

8 pieces Raw Almonds

1/2 tsp Tumeric
-
2 tsp Honey
-
6 Ice Cube
-
1/2 tsp Hemp Hearts
DIRECTIONS

Peel, seed and chop the grapefruit.

In a blender combine the fresh grapefruit juice, chopped apple and ginger, yogurt, turmeric, honey, almonds, and ice and blend until smooth.

Pour into a glass, top with hemp hearts, and serve.
