Grassfed Tzatziki Kefir Smoothie

This creamy smoothie contains all grass-fed ingredients, with added kefir for nutritious elements and richness. The cucumber, mint leaves, dill and garlic will bring out the bold flavors of this unique drink. (Photo: Jackie Newgent)



  • 1 cup English Cucumber
  • 1/2 cup 0% Greek Yogurt, Nonfat, Plain
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 serving mint leaves
  • 2 tsp fresh dill
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1 cup Kefir


1 Place the chopped cucumber in a single layer on a parchment paper–lined tray, cover, and freeze for at least 2 hours or overnight.
2 Add the frozen cucumber, yogurt, olive oil, lemon juice, mint, dill, garlic, and salt to a blender. Cover and blend on high speed until pureed.
3 Add the kefir. Cover and pulse once or twice to just combine.
4 Pour into chilled glasses, and serve. Alternatively, serve as a chilled soup.
