Harley first created this recipe on the set of Revolution, a get-fit TV show he co-hosted last spring on ABC. He was recipe testing, ensuring each smoothie had the optimum macro-nutrients and flavor. The Canadian native says that the recipe truly reminds him of home. **This recipe includes frozen banana - be sure to allow for the freezing time in your prep.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 7 One Raw Almond
  • 1 medium Apple, Raw
  • 1 Banana-medium
  • 1/2 cup Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 3/4 cup Fat-free Milk
  • 3/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon

DIRECTIONS

1 **The banana is frozen for this recipe. Best thing to do is to prep the banana before hand. Peel and chop the banana. Place the chunks into a storage container, 1 layer not touching each other. Freeze.
2 In a blender or food processor, blend the almonds until finely ground. (If your blender isn't powerful enough to grind almonds, you can buy chopped almonds or even almond meal.)
3 Core, and chop the apple.
4 Add the apple, banana, yogurt, milk, and cinnamon.
5 Blend until desired consistency is achieved.
