Hass Avocado and Edamame Tartine

It’s hard not to love avocados’ lusciousness, especially when you know they can help you be lean.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 2 slice 7 Grain Sourdough Whole Wheat Bread
  • 1 medium avocado
  • 2 tsp Pure Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/8 cup Edamame
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives
  • 1/2 tsp sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS

1 TIP: Use pre-cooked edamame, chilled.
2 Toast the bread. Set aside.
3 In a small bowl, mash together the avocado, lemon juice, and salt.
4 Spread the avocado mixture on the toasts and sprinkle with the edamame, chives, and sesame seeds.
