Healthy Crock Pot Roast

This delicious recipe takes 20 minutes to prepare in the morning and you'll feast at dinnertime!

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 8

  • 4 lb Chuck Tender Roast
  • 16 oz Vegetable Broth
  • 234 g Raw Carrot
  • 1 cup Onions
  • 3 medium White Potatoes
  • 3 oz Raw Celery
  • 1/2 tsp Salt and Pepper, to taste

DIRECTIONS

1 Season the roast with salt and pepper to taste. Brown on all sides in a large skillet over medium-high heat, about 4 minutes per side.
2 Place the roast in the slow cooker and add the stock, water, carrots, onion, potatoes, and celery.
3 Cover and cook on Low setting for 8 to 10 hours.
