5-Minute Italian “Submarine” Party Pinwheels

These pinwheels are incredibly easy to make. Simply spread whole-grain tortillas with a mixture of Neufchatel and white balsamic vinegar. Then layer on organic ham, baby arugula, red onion, pepperoncini and fresh oregano, roll it all up and slice into sections.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 10

  • 4 oz organic neufchatel cheese
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Vinegar, White Balsamic
  • 6 Tortillas, Medium Size Soft Flour, Whole Grain
  • 10 oz Black Forest Uncured Ham, Organic
  • 3 cups Baby Arugula
  • 1/2 medium red onion
  • 2/3 cup Pepperoncini
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Oregano

DIRECTIONS

1 In a small bowl, stir together Neufchatel and vinegar until creamy; spread over the entire surface of each tortilla.
2 Top entire surface of each with ham, arugula, onion, drained pepperoncini (hot pepper rings), and oregano. (Note: Only use fresh not dried, oregano.)
3 Roll up tightly. Wrap tightly. Chill in the refrigerator overnight, if desired.
4 Unwrap, trim ends, and cut crosswise into about 5 pieces per tortilla wrap.
