Jess's Healthier Spinach and Artichoke Dip

Enjoy this seemingly decadent appetizer and still stay within your daily calorie goals.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 12

  • 1 cup Light Mayonnaise
  • 16 oz Non-fat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • 1 oz Onions, Green
  • 14 oz Artichoke Hearts, Canned
  • 10 oz Spinach-frozen
  • 1/4 tsp Salt*
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper*
  • 6 large Bread, Pita, Whole-wheat

DIRECTIONS

1 PREP:
2 Artichoke Hearts - drained and chopped
3 Spinach - thaw, chop and drain
4 Green Onion - dice
5 Whole Wheat Pitas - cut into triangles (6 pieces each)
6 Instructions:
7 Mix together mayonnaise, greek yogurt, onion, artichoke hearts, salt, pepper, and chopped spinach in a bowl.
8 Chill in the refrigerator 6 hours or overnight.
9 Pita bread triangles can be dipped in.
