Mexican Hot Chocolate

Indulge in a warm cup of spicy hot chocolate to stimulate the senses with both cayenne pepper and cinnamon that act as anti-inflammatory agents.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 1 cup Organic Light Coconut Milk
  • 1 cup Almond Milk, Unsweetened
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Sugar
  • 3 tbsp Unsweetened Cacao Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Spices, Cayenne Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch Salt*

DIRECTIONS

1 Directions:
2 In a small saucepan, bring milk blend to a simmer.
3 Add cacao, cayenne, cinnamon, vanilla, coconut sugar and salt and stir until well blended.
4 Serve in mugs and if desired, vegan marshmallows, like Dandie's.
