Mexican-Style Popcorn

Mexican-Style Popcorn

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 2

  • 6 cups basic freshly popped pocorn
  • 1 sec Cooking Spray, Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp Honey
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Lime Zest
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ancho Chile
  • 1/4 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/4 cup Feta Cheese Crumbles
  • 3 tbsp fresh cilantro

DIRECTIONS

1 Immediately spritz freshly popped popcorn with cooking spray. Drizzle with the honey and toss to combine. Add the lime zest, salt, chili powder, and cumin and toss to evenly combine.
2 Replace over medium heat and cook while stirring to crisp the popcorn, about 3 minutes.
3 Sprinkle with the feta and cilantro and serve while warm. (Note: Feta cheese can be replaced by cotija cheese.)
4 Hint: Use air-popped popcorn if prefer a lower calorie option.
