Mini Cauliflower Everything Bagel

Bagels are such a delicious, but intimidating treat. Packed with carbs and not much else, they are the ultimate cheat meal – but bagel aficionados don't always have to deprive themselves. Filled with vitamins and potassium, the cauliflower bagel is a great alternative for those craving the popular breakfast food. Chia and sesame seeds offer great nutritional benefits – not to mention a satisfying crunch.



  • 1 head medium Cauliflower, raw
  • 2 tsp Iodized Salt
  • 2 tbsp chickpea flour
  • 2 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
  • 2 large whole egg
  • 1/2 tbsp Poppy Seed
  • 1/2 tbsp Seeds, sesame seeds, whole, dried
  • 1/2 tbsp Chia Seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1/2 tbsp Minced Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ghee


1 In a small bowl, mix in poppy seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, minced garlic, minced onion, and 1 tsp. salt. Set aside.
2 In a food processor, blend the cauliflower into cauliflower rice. Pour into a large bowl and mix in 1 tsp. of salt. Let sit for 15 minutes and strain with cheesecloth.
3 Put cauliflower back into the bowl. Add chickpea flour, nutritional yeast and eggs, then mix.
4 Pre-heat oven to 400 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
5 Scoop about 1/4 cup of cauliflower dough in hands, form a tight ball and flatten. Place on baking sheet and repeat with remaining dough.
6 Brush melted Ghee on top of bagels and sprinkle everything with the bagel mix created in step 1.
7 With the back of a spoon, gently press the mix into the bagel.
8 Bake for 15 minutes or until bagels is golden brown. Cool for 10-15 minutes.
9 OPTIONAL: Serve with cream cheese and chives.
