Start the day with a mint-chip maca protein smoothie for breakfast to boost your energy. Maca powder has many health properties including helping your body resist stress, balance out hormone levels as well as reversing sexual dysfunction. Cacao is chock-full of antioxidants and tryptophan, which are the building blocks for serotonin, the “happy” chemical released in your body when eating chocolate.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Almond Milk, Unsweetened
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 scoop French Vanilla Nutritional Shake
  • 2 tbsp Raw Cacao Nibs
  • 2 tsp Maca Powder
  • 8 Ice Cube

DIRECTIONS

1 Directions:
2 Place all ingredients in your blender except the cacao nibs and blend until smooth.
3 Add cacao nibs and blend for about 10 more seconds so that the cacao nibs are blended into the smoothie, but the texture is still chunky.

5 Garnish with fresh mint leaves and enjoy!
