Organic Chicken Breakfast Patties

Having three sausage patties is not generally a prescription for weight loss. But that’s not the case when you have this recipe in hand!

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 12 oz 100% Fresh Ground Chicken Breast
  • 3/4 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 cup Apple Butter Spread (no Sugar Added)
  • 1/4 cup Red Onion
  • 2 garlic clove
  • 1 tbsp Sage, Fresh
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 Large Eggs

DIRECTIONS

1 Preheat the oven to 450°F. In a large bowl, stir together or mix by hand all ingredients until evenly combined. (Tip: Use ground turkey instead of chicken breast, if you prefer.)
2 Scoop out mixture onto an unbleached parchment paper-lined large baking sheet to form 12 patties, about 2 rounded tablespoons each, patting with your finger tips to form 2 3/4-inch diameter patties.
3 Bake until cooked through and browned, about 15 minutes, and serve.
