This two-ingredient snack will give you a hit of energy and protein. Dates are a great source of fiber, while parmesan is calcium-rich and packed with protein. What's more, the saltiness of the cheese pairs perfectly with the sweet dates.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 8 , pitted date
  • 1/8 lb Cheese, parmesan, hard

DIRECTIONS

1 Cut a slit in each of the dates.
2 Cut the parmesan cheese into equal-sized hunks.
3 Stuff a piece of the parmesan into each of the dates.
4 If you want to add more protein to the mix, wrap each parmesan-stuffed date with a piece of prosciutto.
