Pumpkin Hummus

Up your hummus game by adding pumpkin three ways: canned, seeds and spice -- and win all the style points at your next holiday party by serving it up in a hollowed-out pumpkin. Serve this delicious dip with veggies or whole-grain crackers.



  • 16 oz Smooth and Creamy Hummus - Classic
  • 7 1/2 oz Organic canned pumpkin
  • 1 tsp Spices, pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon, Ground
  • 1 tbsp Pepitas
  • 16 oz raw pumpkin


1 In a bowl, combine hummus, canned pumpkin, pumpkin spice and cinnamon. Mix until well mixed.
2 Garnish with whole pepitas.
3 Cut the crown off of the pumpkin with a serrated knife. Make opening just large enough to snugly fit bowl of hummus.
4 Scrape out the inside of the pumpkin – seeds and membrane. Stuff pumpkin with materials (newspaper, small boxes, etc.) to help hold hummus bowl.
5 Add vegetable crudité, whole grain crackers or pita chips around the pumpkin for dipping.
