Rocky Road Dessert Hummus

Take a trip down memory lane with the classic combination of chocolate, peanuts, and marshmallows. Rocky Road is an all-time favorite dessert flavor and there’s no surprise why it’s delicious.



  • 15 oz Chickpeas (garbanzo beans, bengal gram), mature seeds, canned, drained, rinsed in tap water
  • 3 tbsp Confectioners Sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (without salt)
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 4 tbsp Almond Breeze Almond Milk
  • 2/3 cup Mini Marshmellow
  • 2 tbsp Peanuts, Dry Roasted
  • 1 tbsp Mini Chips, Semi-Sweet Chocolate


1 Drain and rinse chickpeas. Remove skins by gently squeezing and separating skin from bean – discard skins.
2 Add chickpeas, sugar, cocoa powder, almond butter and salt to a food processor. Blend until smooth.
3 While food processor is blending, pour in almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until a desired consistency is reached.
4 Spoon out dessert hummus into a bowl.
5 Stir in marshmallows, peanuts and chocolate chips.
6 Serve with graham crackers.
