Sriracha Skyr “Ranch” Dressing

Ranch is the most popular salad dressing in America, according to the NPD Group, who calls it the “Swiss army knife of salad dressings.” Unfortunately, it’s frequently overloaded with unnatural ingredients. But you can have your ranch dressing and eat it too. It features skyr, an Icelandic-style yogurt rich in protein and probiotics. Or, if you prefer, use Greek yogurt.



  • 3 tbsp Vinegar, White Wine
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
  • 1 sprigs Dill weed, fresh
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce
  • 3/4 tsp Dijon Mustard
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1 container Skyr - Plain


1 Add all ingredients except Skyr to a 10-ounce (or larger) capacity jar. Shake vigorously. Add Skyr and shake vigorously.
2 Use immediately or store in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days. Note: a 5.3-ounce container of Skyr is about 2/3 cup. Skyr can be substituted with plain Greek yogurt.
