Strawberry Smoothie Without Yogurt

If you're looking for a creamy and refreshing treat that is also an excellent source of vitamin C, fiber, potassium, folate, antioxidants and protein, consider this delicious strawberry smoothie.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup Almond Milk, Original
  • 1 tbsp almond butter (without salt)
  • 4 Ice Cube

DIRECTIONS

1 Wash and cut the stems off of six large, ripe fresh strawberries.
2 Place the strawberries into a blender.
3 Add the banana into the blender with the strawberries, along with 1 cup of milk, 1 tbsp peanut (or almond) butter and three to five ice cubes.
4 Place the lid on the blender and mix using a high-speed setting.
5 Stop when the ingredients are completely mixed together.
6 Pour into a tall glass and enjoy.
