Sweet-Tart Cranberry Sauce

You’ll simply add a bag of fresh whole cranberries to a saucepan with some lemon and orange zest, coconut sugar and water.



  • 12 oz cranberries, raw, whole
  • 2/3 cup Coconut Sugar
  • 1 tsp Grated lemon zest
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1 cup cold water


1 Add the cranberries, coconut sugar (or turbinado sugar), lemon and orange zest, and water to a large saucepan and bring to a boil over high.
2 Reduce heat to low and simmer uncovered until the cranberries are softened about 10 minutes.
3 Transfer the cranberry sauce to a bowl and cool to room temperature—or chill or later.
