Swift Almost Apple Pie

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1/2 cup Apple
  • 1/2 tsp chia seeds
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 pinch Allspice, Ground
  • 1 pinch Spices, cloves, ground
  • 2 tbsp Flaxseed Meal

DIRECTIONS

1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2 In a small ramekin or baking dish, layer in a 1/2 cup of chopped apples and toss with a 1/2 teaspoon of chia seeds.
3 Top with a drizzle of honey and allspice or cloves to taste.
4 Top with ground or whole flaxseed and -- bake for about 15 minutes or until the fruit is softened, but not liquid.
5 Remove from the oven, let stand for 3 minutes and enjoy warm! For an additional flavor boost, top with cinnamon to taste and and a few chopped or sliced almonds.
