Turkey Fried Rice

Turkey Fried Rice

You can make this easy and fast-cooking dish for lunch or dinner. Allow the carrots and onions to soften and mix in the rice and seasonings. Then stir in the turkey, peas and egg. This keeps the turkey and egg from drying out and prevents the peas from getting mushy.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 3

  • 1/2 cup Petite Peas (frozen)
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1/2 medium red onion
  • 1 medium raw carrots
  • 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/3 lb roasted turkey breast
  • 1 Large Brown Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Water, tap, well
  • 1/2 tbsp Tamari Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

1 Place the oil in a fry pan over medium heat.
2 Add the carrots and onions and sauté for a couple of minutes.
3 Add half the water and rice. If the rice absorbs all of the water, add a little more.
4 Sprinkle in soy sauce and pepper, then add the turkey and peas.
5 Stir in the egg and cook until the whites are done.
