Turmeric Marinated Grilled Chicken Tenders

Adding more turmeric to the diet can help decrease overall inflammation in the body, even out your skin tone, and help protect it from the aging process. These chicken tenders are the perfect way to get turmeric into everyday cooking.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 4

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
  • 2 tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Curry Powder, Jamaican Style
  • 1/2 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 16 oz Chicken Breast Tenders, Boneless & Skinless
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt, Plain
  • 1 tbsp Lime Juice
  • 1 tbsp Lime Zest

DIRECTIONS

1 In a shallow container with a lid, add olive oil, vinegar, lime juice, turmeric, curry powder, salt, garlic and red pepper flakes.
2 Stir until combined.
3 Add chicken and turn to coat in the marinade.
4 Marinade for at least 60 minutes.
5 While chicken is marinating, make yogurt sauce by mixing together all of the sauce ingredients and storing in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
6 Heat grill to medium heat and place chicken on the grill.
7 Grill until a meat thermometer reads 165°F, about 4 minutes on each side.
8 Serve with lime yogurt dipping sauce.
