Watermelon-Kiwi Slushy Smoothie

For a perfect after-workout refresher, this smoothie combines three workout super foods: kiwi, Greek yogurt and sweet watermelon.

INGREDIENTS

SERVES 1

  • 1 cup cubed watermelon
  • 1 kiwi
  • 1 cup vanilla Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup ice

DIRECTIONS

1 Combine watermelon, kiwi, yogurt and ice into a blender. Cover and blend until creamy. Serve immediately.
2 Watermelon is hydrating and research shows it may help reduce recovery rate and muscle soreness post exercise thanks to a unique amino acid called L-citrulline.
