The key to adapting a healthy version of this traditional dish is to find one that most appeals to your palate. Don’t dig heat? Skip the cayenne and hot sauce. Prefer a thick spread? Pass on the pickle juice. Just remember that the key ingredients are cheddar, mayonnaise and pimentos.
INGREDIENTS

1 tbsp Pimento, canned

2 tbsp Low Fat Cream Cheese

1 tbsp Low Fat Greek Yogurt, Plain

1/4 tsp Dijon Mustard

1/4 tsp Hot Sauce

1/8 tsp Spices & Seasonings, Ground Cayenne Pepper

1/4 tsp Sea Salt

1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper

1 1/4 cups Low Fat Sharp Cheddar Cheese
DIRECTIONS

In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients except the cheddar and use a large spoon to stir until well combined.

Add cheese and mix well, scraping the sides of the bowl to recombine any of the mixture.

Check the seasoning and adjust if necessary.
