On August 21, onlookers will gather en masse to witness the first total solar eclipse visible from the contiguous U.S. since 1979 — and the first coast-to-coast in 99 years. Renowned astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson dubbed the rare celestial event "Muuurica’s Eclipse" and promises it’s not to be missed. “It is a stunning spectacle,” Tyson said at a conference earlier this year. “It becomes as dark as night in the middle of the day and animals behave weirdly, including and especially humans. Try to get to it.”
