Everyone can benefit from a few words of motivation from a top trainer. We talked to twenty of the best trainers out there to find out what they tell their clients, students (and themselves!) to get inspired to work out and eat healthy.

“IF YOU NEVER CHANGE, YOU NEVER CHANGE."
Or, if you keep doing what you've been doing, you're going to stay where you are already, says Rick Richey, a certified personal trainer and owner of R2Fitness in New York City. “This is my quote to emphasize the importance of varied and progressive exercise programming, as well the need to actually do something if you're doing nothing,” he says.

Whenever she needs a dose of inspiration, certified personal trainer Jennipher Walters, co-founder of FitBottomedGirls.com, quotes one of her favorite Gwen Stefani songs to push herself. “I use this phrase with myself or with others (with a little bit of sass) to help them see that right now is the only moment that matters,” she says. “It doesn't matter if you missed a workout yesterday or ate too much pizza over lunch. What matters is this moment right now and how you can make the absolute most of it -- both by being focused on the workout you're about to do and by believing in yourself to do it. When it comes to reaching our fitness and health goals, there's no time like the present. So what are you waiting for? Do it, and do it with your all!”
