Hi, I'm Jay McLeod, the professional women's fitness trainer. Ladies today we are going to talk about how to work off hip fat. That stubborn fat that just won't leave your hips ok. It's two parts. You want to do cardiorespiratory training and resistance training. For cardiorespiratory training I recommend running, swimming, dancing, cycling, or doing stairs. Not only will you burn fat in your hips but you'll burn fat in your entire body as well. Resistance training. I recommend doing compound exercises. Functional exercises like you would do in your daily life ok. This is going to be lifts like doing squats. Doing lunges, deadlifts and step-ups. Now all these exercises involve the major muscles in your legs, your quads, your glutes, your hamstrings ok. These exercises are going to help you build muscles in your hips and reduce fat around them.
