Hi, I'm Natalie Jill, let's talk about one of my favorite simple recipes, mandarin shrimp salad. So simple to prepare and so nutritious. All you need to do for this is a dark leafy lettuce of your choice, and I choose romaine because I like the crispiness in it, I like that it has vitamins, all kinds of good nutrients and it makes for a really meaty great tasting lettuce for a salad. You need some dark lettuce, you need lemon, one whole lemon, olive oil, mandarin oranges, pink Himalayan rock salt, key ingredient, and any type of nut of your choice and I'm going to use walnuts in this salad and of course shrimp and cold chilled defrosted if you've got frozen shrimp, cold-chilled shrimp. All you're going to do is toss through the ingredients, you want the lettuce, walnuts, the shrimp and the mandarin oranges in one bowl tossed together. And then the dressing is so simple you're just going to use olive oil, about four tablespoons for the entire head of romaine lettuce, a full lemon squeezed and one tablespoon of Himalayan rock salt. That's all it is for the dressing. Make the dressing, toss it in with the rest of the ingredients and there you have it. A healthy simple easy mandarin shrimp salad.
