Hi, I'm Teresa and welcome to my fresh kitchen. Today, I'm gonna show you how to make a low-carb dessert for the Super Bowl. Super Bowl parties can be your worst nightmare because everybody always brings their best snacks and you're sitting there watching the game. So bringing a low-carb treat will make it much easier for you and the guests involved. So today we're gonna make these low-carb macaroons and they're really simple and they're a great option cause they're very low in sugar and that's only 4 ingredients. So all we're gonna do is we're gonna take 4 egg whites and we're gonna add a teaspoon of vanilla to that and anywhere between a quarter cup to a half cup of a sugar free sweetener. It's really gonna depend so go on like this, the lighter side first and then you're gonna add 2 cups of unsweetened shredded coconut and you're gonna mix this together so it should be kind of sticky. If it's not really behaving you can let it stick for a little bit and it will firm up as the coconut absorbs the mixture and then you want to roll it into little one balls and put them on your baking sheet which you've covered with parchment paper and bake them at 350 for anywhere between 30 and 40 minutes but you'll want to make sure that they become a little bit firm and they're definitely browned at the top. You're gonna end up with these little macaroons and they have only 45 calories per cookie and only 2 grams of carbohydrates, one of which is fiber.
