Hi, this is Reginald Reese. Today, I'm going to show you a couple of exercises you can do to loosen the hips after stretching. This will help increase your flexibility and mobility in the hips. This will also help minimize tightness and soreness in the hips. First, let's start with the flamingo. The flamingo we're going to stretch the four quarter quad. I want to start by placing my feet shoulder width apart and I want to grab my right ankle. I want to hold this stretch for 10 to 15 seconds. Now, let's alternate, let's go into the opposite leg. Again, my knees should be facing straight down, hold again 10 to 15 seconds and ease it back down. Next, this is what I called the baseball stretch. I want to start by laying flat on the ground. My shoulders should be flat, my chest facing outward. We'll start by putting my right leg over my left leg. My leg should be at 90 degrees. I want to hold this stretch again about 10 to 15 seconds. You don't want to pull it too tight here. And relax. Next, let's go into the opposite leg. This time I will be placing my left leg over my right leg, 90 degrees and relax. Great job!
