You can have smooth and supple skin on your legs with the help of natural oils and tonics that stimulate skin health and promote radiance. If the skin on your legs is dry, you can make it softer in a relatively short amount of time. At home treatments and topical healing applications done consistently help you get smooth legs and radiant skin. By cleansing, exfoliating, and moisturizing your skin with simple ingredients, you will improve the look of your legs.

Step 1

Clean the skin all over your legs with 1 cup ground oatmeal and water. For dry skin, use whole milk instead of water to create a paste. Whole milk has lipids that give skin pH balance and moisture, while oatmeal has nutritional content and cleansing properties. Rinse the paste off with warm water.

Step 2

Exfoliate your feet and rough areas of the legs with wheat germ. Rinse the wheat germ off the skin with lukewarm water after the dry areas have been thoroughly scrubbed. Wheat germ is high in natural proteins, vitamins and other nourishing ingredients. The subtle, granular texture will smooth away dead skin and roughness while stimulating healthy cell turnover and regeneration.

Step 3

Apply plentiful amounts of organic honey to the bumpy or rough areas of your legs. Leave the honey on the skin for 10 to 15 minutes, and then remove it with lukewarm water. Pat the skin dry with a clean towel. Organic honey is considered a humectant, which helps the skin retain moisture and balance.

Step 4

Smooth fresh aloe vera gel all over your legs once or twice per week, especially on the knees, ankles and the backs of the thighs. Leave this gel on the skin to dry. Aloe vera is known for hydrating, detoxifying and soothing properties that aid skin repair and boost skin radiance. Purchase a live aloe plant if possible to have fresh aloe vera gel on hand.

Step 5

Mix seven to 10 drops of grade A lavender essential oil with an almond, hazelnut or apricot carrier oil. Lavender, naturally antiseptic, antifungal, and antibacterial, hydrates skin when incorporated into a natural, pH balanced carrier oil. Apply this soothing oil mixture to get smooth, beautiful skin on your legs.
