The Euro Body Shaper uses massage and vibration to automatically stretch and strengthen muscles. The vibration travels throughout your body causing muscles to contract without any effort on your part. You can perform a series of exercises on this machine that work both the upper and lower body. The manufacturer recommends specific exercises to get you started; experiment with other exercise types as you feel comfortable.
Settings and Recommendations
Calculate your BMI by pressing the "BMI" button and following the prompts to enter your gender, age, height and weight. Adjust the speed higher or lower to whatever level feels most comfortable for your fitness level. Use the machine for about 10 to 15 minutes once or twice a day for overall fitness or up to eight times a day for 10 to 20 minutes for weight loss.
Standing Exercises
Stand on the Euro Body Shaper with both hands on the handlebars, your feet slightly apart and your knees slightly bent. This targets the back, hips and legs. Hold this position for up to five minutes. While standing on the machine, grip the arm resistance bands and pull upward to target the shoulders, triceps and biceps.
Sitting Exercises
Sit backwards on the plate with your legs folded and grip the handle bars with both hands to target the legs, shoulders and abdomen. Sit on the plate while gripping one of the handlebars with both hands. Keep your legs straight out and slightly elevate them off the floor. Hold either position for up to five minutes.
Other Exercises
Perform a series of exercises off of the shaper while using the machine to add vibration to the exercise. Stand on the floor with one foot on the plate while you place your hands on your waist. Lay down on the floor, bend your knees and place one foot flat on the plate while placing the other foot in the air. Squat down and place your hands on the plate. Place one hand on the plate with your opposite hand on your waist and bring your legs straight out for support. Hold any of these exercises for up to five minutes.
