Can Too Much Exercise Cause Hyperthyroidism?

Hyperthyroidism refers to a condition where your thyroid gland produces too much hormone. It results in an abnormally elevated metabolism. Symptoms include weight loss, rapid heartbeat, increased appetite and restlessness. While exercise does not induce hyperthyroidism, it does affect the thyroid.
