Hi, I'm Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM, and this is a fun activity to do to work on your balance. So, what I want you to do is get down onto your mat onto all fours here. So, your hands are going to go directly over your shoulders and then, check out your knees and make sure they're kind of over your, underneath your hips there. And what I want you to do is lift up your right leg and then place it right back down. And then you're going to lift up the opposite arm and then bring it back down. And you're going to do the same on the other side, you're going to extend the back leg and back down and then extend the right arm. And then, to challenge yourself, you're going to challenge yourself, you're going to lift them both at the same time and see how long you can hold it for and then bring it right back down. And then try the other side; and then you're just going to repeat and try to stay focus also on your core, making sure that your belly doesn't drop down. You want to have a nice neutral spine. You're actually working the back of the leg and extending the back here. So, it's an exercise that will actually get you a bit tone if you do it consistently. And then if that's too easy for you, you're going to try it up in a push up position and again, just start off by lifting one arm and then the opposite leg. And then if you can, you're going to lift at the same time. I'm Amber Nimedez with LIVESTRONG.COM, and that is how you do fun activity working on your balance.
