Hello, my name is Amber Nimedez-Lyftogt with LIVESTRONG.COM, and today I'm going to teach you some exercises that slim instead of bulk. Now bulking up really you have to eat a lot and you have to take a lot of supplements and you have to lift really really heavy weights. So you can't really bulk unless you are doing all of that but what I prefer to do to slim with my clients is we go through a yoga sculptor or yoga flow. This is one of my favorites. So I'm going to start at the back of the mat and I'm going to inhale my arms up, exhale, fold and then I'm going to walk my hands all the way out to plank position. And then I'm going to do a tricep push-up down trying to keep my shoulders pulled back the whole entire time and then I'm going to go ahead and stretch up, shoulders down, squeezing my shoulder blades together and then I'm going to push right back up into Downward Facing Dog. So just in this position here and that flow, I have used my own body weight to slim. I'm going to lift up my right leg all the way up and then I'm going to bend my knee, open up the hip, square off my hips as much as possible, straighten that leg and bring that leg all the way through, stand up Warrior I. This is a lot of quad work here so we're really slimming and leaning out the quad and then opening up to Warrior II, palms facing up, Reverse Warrior, stretching out the side body, still working that quad, extended angle here, stretch, back to Warrior II, straightening out the leg, bringing the arms out, squeezing the back, right back up to Warrior II, cartwheeling the arms right back down, stepping back into plank and then taking your flow. Taking it down, triceps, back to Downward Facing Dog and we're going to repeat the other side. Left leg comes up, going to bend that leg, open up the hip, squaring it up, taking a big step through, squeezing my abs here, taking a step up, Warrior I, opening up the hips, Reverse Warrior, stretching that side body, reaching up, Warrior II, extended angle here, and working that quad, stretching my side body, working on my core, taking it right back to center, squaring off my feet, opening up my arms, squeezing the back, taking it back up to Warrior II, taking a flow all the way back down to plank, walking my hands all the way back to my feet, inhaling up and exhaling down. So that's a nice yoga flow to slim instead of bulk. My name is Amber Nimedez-Lyftogt with LIVESTRONG.COM.
